Born in Bogotá with roots in Quindio, she holds a Marketing degree from Universidad Jorge Tadeo Lozano and has furthered her education in Medical Office Administration and English as a Second Language. 

For over two decades, Lux has been involved with the Colombian consulate and various organizations, demonstrating her commitment to nonprofit leadership. As the co-founder and president of Vporcolombia, she supports Colombians in Georgia through community-driven projects.
